न राज्याद्भ्रंशनं भद्रे न सुहृद्भिर्विनाभव: ।
मनो मे बाधते दृष्ट्वा रमणीयमिमं गिरिम् ॥ ॥२-९४-३॥
Na rājyādbhraṃśanaṃ bhadre na suhṛdbhirvinābhavaḥ । Mano me bādhate dṛṣṭvā ramaṇīyamimaṃ girim ॥ ॥2-94-3॥
Translation
O gentle lady, seeing this delightful mountain, neither the loss of the kingdom nor the separation from my friends distresses my mind.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे भद्रे! इस रमणीय पर्वत को देखकर न तो मुझे राज्य छिन जाने का दुःख होता है और न ही मित्रों से बिछड़ने की पीड़ा मेरे मन को सताती है।
English Commentary
This is a philosophically significant verse showing Rama's stoicism and appreciation for nature. He assures Sita that the beauty of Chitrakuta acts as a balm for his soul, erasing the pain of political exile (rājyādbhraṃśanaṃ) and social isolation (suhṛdbhirvinābhavaḥ). It reveals Rama's ability to transcend material loss through aesthetic contemplation. By stating this, he also aims to alleviate Sita's guilt or sadness regarding their situation, assuring her that he is content.

यह श्लोक राम के चरित्र की महानता और प्रकृति-प्रेम का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। राम सीता (भद्रे) से कहते हैं कि प्रकृति का सौंदर्य सभी सांसारिक दुःखों की औषधि है। राज्य का जाना और स्वजनों का वियोग—ये दो सबसे बड़े दुःख थे, किन्तु चित्रकूट की सुंदरता ने इन घावों को भर दिया है। यह राम की मानसिक दृढ़ता और वर्तमान में जीने (mindfulness) की कला को दर्शाता है। वे अभाव में भी भाव और आनंद खोज लेते हैं।
