पश्येममचलं भद्रे नानाद्विजगणायुतम् ।
शिखरै: खमिवोद्विद्धैर्द्धातुमद्भिर्विभूषितम् ॥ ॥२-९४-४॥
Paśyemamacalaṃ bhadre nānādvijagaṇāyutam । Śikharaiḥ khamivodviddhairdhātumadbhirvibhūṣitam ॥ ॥2-94-4॥
Translation
Behold this mountain, O gentle one, filled with various flocks of birds, and adorned with mineral-rich peaks that seem to pierce the sky.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे भद्रे! देखो, यह पर्वत अनेक प्रकार के पक्षियों के समूहों से युक्त है और धातुओं से मण्डित, आकाश को भेदते हुए से प्रतीत होने वाले शिखरों से सुशोभित है।
English Commentary
Rama acts as a tour guide for Sita, pointing out specific features of the landscape. The imagery of peaks "piercing the sky" (khamivodviddhaiḥ) conveys the majesty and grandeur of the mountain. The mention of minerals (dhātu) suggests color and vibrance, indicating that the mountain is not just a grey rock but a colorful canvas. The presence of birds adds sound and movement to the static grandeur of the peaks.

राम सीता का ध्यान पर्वत की विशालता और सुंदरता की ओर आकर्षित करते हैं। 'खम् इव उद्विद्धै:' (आकाश को भेदते हुए से) शिखरों की ऊँचाई का वर्णन करता है। 'धातुमद्भि:' का अर्थ है गेरू आदि रंगीन खनिजों से युक्त, जो पर्वत को रंग-बिरंगा बनाते हैं। पक्षियों के समूह ('द्विजगण') पर्वत की जीवंतता का प्रमाण हैं। राम यहाँ एक कुशल पर्यवेक्षक की तरह सीता को प्रकृति के दृश्य दिखा रहे हैं।
