Translation
Shatrughna also weeping, worshipped Rama's feet. Embracing them both, Rama also shed tears.
हिंदी अनुवाद
शत्रुघ्न ने भी रोते हुए राम के चरणों की वंदना की। तब उन दोनों (भरत और शत्रुघ्न) को गले लगाकर राम ने भी आंसू बहाए।
English Commentary
The tableau is completed with Shatrughna joining Bharata at Rama’s feet. Rama finally breaks his static posture. He embraces both brothers ('samalingya'). The stoic hero, who remained calm through the loss of his kingdom and exile, finally weeps ('ashrunyavarttayat'). This shared sorrow dissolves the boundaries between the ascetic and the royals. It is a moment of catharsis where the hierarchy of age and status is temporarily washed away by the flow of fraternal tears. The use of 'cha' (and) links Rama's tears to theirs, signifying their united hearts.

अब तक राम अपनी कुटिया में बैठे हुए थे (श्लोक 25-28), और भरत दूर से विलाप कर रहे थे। अब मिलन होता है। शत्रुघ्न भी रोते हुए चरणों में गिरते हैं। राम की प्रतिक्रिया अब सामने आती है - 'समालिङ्ग्य' (अच्छी तरह गले लगाकर)। राम, जो अब तक स्थितप्रज्ञ और शांत दिख रहे थे, अपने छोटे भाइयों की दशा देखकर द्रवित हो जाते हैं। 'रामश्चाश्रूण्यवर्त्तयत्' - राम ने भी आंसू गिराए। यह राम की मानवीयता है; वे ईश्वर होते हुए भी भाई के प्रेम में बंधे हैं। चारों भाइयों का यह मिलन (लक्ष्मण पास ही हैं) रामायण के सबसे भावुक क्षणों में से एक है।
