त्वम् एव राजा धर्मज्ञ इति रामम् वचः अब्रवीत् ।
रामोऽपि परमोदारः सुमुखः सुमहायशाः ॥१-१-३६॥
tvam eva rājā dharma-jña iti rāmam vacaḥ abravīt |
rāmo'pi parama-udāraḥ su-mukhaḥ su-mahā-yaśaḥ ॥1-1-36॥
Translation
"You alone are the king, O knower of Dharma!"—thus (Bharata) spoke these words to Rama. Rama, also, was supremely generous, pleasant-faced, and greatly glorious.
