हनुमत् वचनात् च एव सुग्रीवेण समागतः ।
सुग्रीवाय च तत् सर्वम् शंसत् रामो महाबलः ॥१-१-५९॥
hanumat vacanāt ca eva sugrīveṇa samāgataḥ |
sugrīvāya ca tat sarvam śaṃsat rāmo mahābalaḥ ॥1-1-59॥
Translation
By the words of Hanuman, (Rama) was united with Sugriva. And Rama, the greatly powerful one, narrated all that (the story of Sita's abduction and his grief) to Sugriva.

हनुमत के वचन से सुग्रीव के साथ मिल आए। सुग्रीव को सब कुछ समझाया राम, बहुत बलशाली।
English Commentary
This verse marks the formal alliance between Rama and Sugriva, highlighting the significance of Hanuman's mediation. Rama shares his grief with Sugriva, specifically recounting the tale of Sita's abduction.
