Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
पुनः आख्यायिकाम् जल्पन् सुग्रीव सहितः तदा ।
पुष्पकम् तत् समारूह्य नंदिग्रामम् ययौ तदा ॥१-१-८८॥
Punaḥ ākhyāyikām jalpan Sugrīva sahitaḥ tadā. Puṣpakaṃ tat samārūhya Nandigrāmam yayau tadā. ॥1-1-88॥
Translation
Then, narrating His stories (of the journey and war) again, accompanied by Sugriva, He (Rama) then ascended that Pushpaka (aerial car) and proceeded to Nandigrama.

फिर अपनी कहानियाँ सुनाते हुए, सुग्रीव के साथ, उन्होंने उस पुष्पक विमान पर सवार होकर नंदिग्राम की ओर प्रस्थान किया।
English Commentary
This verse illustrates that Rama was once again narrating His stories to His companions, notably Sugriva, making the journey entertaining while recounting His experiences and struggles. Ascending the Pushpaka was a significant moment as this celestial vehicle was taking them towards Nandigrama, where Bharata resided as an ascetic. This place holds great importance for Rama as He is going to meet His brother who has been eagerly waiting for His return. This journey signifies not just a physical journey, but an emotional and spiritual reunion as well.
