अर्घ्यम् च प्रददौ तस्मै न्यायतः सुसमाहितः ।
वव्रे प्रसादम् विप्रेइन्द्रात् मा विप्रम् मन्युः आविशेत् ॥१-१०-३१॥
arghyam ca pradadau tasmai nyayatah susamahitah |
vavre prasādam vipreindrāt mā vipram manyuh āviśet ॥1-10-31॥
Translation
He also offered the worthy gift respectfully. That sage, who was composed and well-balanced, accepted the offering from those priests without letting anger invade his mind.

अर्घ्य भी उस पर उचित रूप से प्रदान किया। वह ब्राह्मण, जो पवित्र और संतुलित था, उन ब्राह्मणों के लिए प्रसाद ग्रहण करता है।
English Commentary
This verse highlights the king's generosity and respect towards the priests. The king offered a worthy gift with due respect. It illustrates how a ruler should utilize his power wisely. Donating to the Brahmins is a significant duty, and the king performed it with simplicity. Here, the priests symbolize grandeur with humility and balance. The comportment of the priests, along with their pursuit of peace, is essential; any anger could undermine this respect.
