Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
पौरेषु प्रेषयामास दूतान् वै शीघ्र गामिनः ।
क्रियताम् नगरम् सर्वम् क्षिप्रम् एव स्वलंकृतम् ॥१-११-२४॥
paureṣu preṣayāmāsa dūtān vai śīghra gāminaḥ |
kriyatām nagaram sarvam kṣipram eva svalaṅkṛtam ॥1-11-24॥
Translation
He (King Dasharatha) indeed sent swift-moving messengers to the citizens (of Ayodhya), (commanding them): "Let the entire city be immediately and properly decorated!"
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह (राजा दशरथ) शहरवासियों को वास्तव में तेज़ी से चलने वाले संदेशवाहकों को भेजते हैं, (आदेश देते हुए): "पूरा नगर को तुरंत और अच्छे से सजाया जाए!"
English Commentary
