वाजिवारण शलाः च तथा शय्या गृहाणि च ।
भटानाम् महदावासम् वैदेशिक निवासिनाम् ॥१-१३-१२॥
vājivāraṇa śalāḥ ca tathā śayyā gṛhāṇi ca |
bhaṭānām mahadāvāsam vaideśika nivāsinām ॥1-13-12॥
Translation
"Stables for horses and elephants, as well as sleeping quarters, must be built. Huge accommodations should also be arranged for the soldiers and for those residing in foreign lands."

"घोड़ों और हाथियों के लिए घुड़साल और फीलखाने (शालाएं), तथा सैनिकों के लिए शयन-गृह बनाए जाएँ। विदेशी निवासियों के लिए भी विशाल आवासों का प्रबंध हो।"
English Commentary
