तेषाम् अपि विशेषेण पूजा कार्या यथा क्रमम् ।
ये स्युः संपूजिता सर्वे वसुभिः भोजनेन च ॥१-१३-१६॥
teṣām api viśeṣeṇa pūjā kāryā yathā kramam |
ye syuḥ sampūjitā sarve vasubhiḥ bhojanena ca ॥1-13-16॥
Translation
"They too should be specially honored according to their rank. Let them all be well-rewarded and satisfied with wealth and food."

"उन (श्रमिकों और शिल्पकारों) का भी यथायोग्य विशेष सत्कार (पूजा) किया जाना चाहिए। वे सभी धन और भोजन आदि से भली-भांति तृप्त और सम्मानित होने चाहिए।"
English Commentary
Following the prohibition of disrespect, Vasishtha mandates positive reinforcement. The workers are not just to be paid but 'honored' (puja karya) specially. Providing them with vasubhih (wealth/wages) and bhojanena (food) ensures their physical and financial satisfaction. This reflects a pragmatic and ethical approach: a satisfied workforce performs better. It elevates the status of the artisans from mere laborers to respected participants in the holy sacrifice.

पिछले श्लोक में अपमान न करने की बात थी, यहाँ उन्हें 'विशेष' सम्मान और पारितोषिक देने की बात है। 'वसुभिः' (धन से) और 'भोजनेन' (भोजन से) तृप्त करने का अर्थ है कि श्रम का उचित मूल्य और सुविधाएं दी जाएँ। वसिष्ठ जी का मानना है कि यदि सेवक वर्ग संतुष्ट ('संपूजिता') रहेगा, तो वे कार्य को अपना समझकर पूर्ण निष्ठा से करेंगे। यह एक कल्याणकारी राज्य (Welfare State) की सोच को दर्शाता है।
