Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
सर्वकामैः उपहृतैः उपेतम् वै समन्ततः ।
द्रष्टुम् अर्हसि राजेन्द्र मनसेव विनिर्मितम् ॥ ॥१-१३-३८॥
Sarvakāmaiḥ upahṛtaiḥ upetam vai samantataḥ । Draṣṭum arhasi rājendra manaseva vinirmitam ॥ ॥1-13-38॥
Translation
"O King of Kings! You ought to see the sacrificial ground, which is stocked with all desirable objects and appears as magnificent as if created by the mind itself."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे राजेन्द्र! आप उस यज्ञभूमि को देखिए जो सब प्रकार की इच्छित सामग्रियों से परिपूर्ण है और जिसे देखकर ऐसा लगता है मानो वह (हाथों से नहीं बल्कि) संकल्प मात्र या मन से रची गई हो।"
English Commentary
Vasistha describes the perfection of the venue. He uses the poetic phrase manaseva vinirmitam (created as if by the mind/thought). Just as mental visualization can be flawless and instant, the physical arrangement was so perfect and well-stocked (sarva kamaih) that it transcended ordinary human effort. This serves to heighten the King's anticipation and validates the immense resources poured into the event.

वसिष्ठ जी यज्ञशाला की सुंदरता और पूर्णता का वर्णन कर रहे हैं। 'मनसेव विनिर्मितम्' एक बहुत सुंदर उपमा है—जिस प्रकार मन की कल्पना में कोई त्रुटि नहीं होती, वैसी ही वह यज्ञशाला थी। उसमें किसी भी वस्तु का अभाव नहीं था। यह दशरथ को आश्वस्त करने के लिए था कि उनका यज्ञ वैसा ही भव्य होगा जैसा उन्होंने सपना देखा था। यह शिल्पकारों की दक्षता का सर्वोच्च प्रमाण पत्र था।
