तथा इति च स राजानम् अब्रवीत् द्विजसत्तमः ।
करिष्ये सर्वम् एव एतत् भवता यत् समर्थितम् ॥१-१३-५॥
tathā iti ca sa rājānam abravīt dvijasattamaḥ |
kariṣye sarvam eva etat bhavatā yat samarthitam ॥1-13-5॥
Translation
Then that best of the twice-born replied 'So be it' to the King, adding, 'I shall execute everything exactly as you have proposed.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब उस द्विजश्रेष्ठ (वसिष्ठ) ने राजा से 'तथास्तु' (वैसा ही हो) कहा और बोले—"आपने जो भी विचार किया है (या प्रस्ताव रखा है), मैं वह सब अवश्य करूँगा।"
English Commentary
Sage Vasishtha’s acceptance is concise and decisive—'Tatha' (So be it). This brevity reflects his supreme confidence and authority. As the dvijasattama (best among Brahmins), his assurance to execute everything the King has proposed (samarthitam) provides the necessary spiritual sanction for the project to proceed. This moment marks the transition from the King's intent to the Sage's execution of the grand ritual.
हिंदी टीका
गुरु वसिष्ठ की स्वीकृति अत्यंत संक्षिप्त और स्पष्ट है—'तथा इति' (वैसा ही हो)। यह गुरु की अपने शिष्य के प्रति कृपालुता और आत्मविश्वास को दर्शाता है। वे राजा को आश्वस्त करते हैं कि उनकी इच्छा पूरी की जाएगी। एक समर्थ गुरु अपने शिष्य के संकल्प को सिद्ध करने का दायित्व स्वयं ले लेता है। यहाँ से यज्ञ की वास्तविक कार्यकारी प्रक्रिया आरम्भ होती है।
