Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
ऋष्यशृन्गाय मुनये वसिष्ठाय च धीमते ।
ततः ते न्यायतः कृत्वा प्रविभागम् द्विजोत्तमाः ॥ ॥१-१४-५२॥
Ṛṣyaśṛṅgāya munaye vasiṣṭhāya ca dhīmate |
Tataḥ te nyāyataḥ kṛtvā pravibhāgam dvijottamāḥ ॥1-14-52॥
Translation
Those excellent Brahmins handed over the wealth to the sage Rishyashringa and the wise Vasistha. Then, those two distributed it justly.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन श्रेष्ठ द्विजो (ऋत्विजों) ने वह सारा धन मुनि ऋष्यशृंग और बुद्धिमान वसिष्ठ जी को सौंप दिया। फिर उन दोनों ने न्यायपूर्वक उसका बंटवारा किया।
English Commentary
This verse clarifies the management of the immense wealth mentioned previously. The officiating priests entrusted the distribution to the highest authorities present: Sage Rishyashringa (the presiding priest) and Vasistha (the royal preceptor). This act signifies trust in leadership. Vasistha and Rishyashringa then distributed the shares "justly" (nyāyataḥ), ensuring that every participant received their due based on their role and contribution. It highlights the organizational integrity within the Vedic ritualistic tradition.

पिछले श्लोक में एकत्रित धन का प्रबंधन यहाँ स्पष्ट होता है। कनिष्ठ ऋत्विजों ने धन का दायित्व अपने वरिष्ठों—यज्ञ के मुख्य आचार्य ऋष्यशृंग और कुलगुरु वसिष्ठ—को सौंप दिया। यह पदानुक्रम (hierarchy) और अनुशासन का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। वसिष्ठ और ऋष्यशृंग ने बिना किसी पक्षपात के, 'न्यायतः' (न्यायपूर्वक) उस धन को सभी प्रतिभागियों में विभाजित किया। यह दर्शाता है कि एक सफल यज्ञ केवल विधि-विधान से नहीं, बल्कि आपसी विश्वास और सुप्रबंधन से संपन्न होता है।
