प्रणामम् अकरोत् तेषाम् हर्ष व्याकुलित इन्द्रियः ।
तस्य आशिषोऽथ विविधा ब्राह्मणैः समुदाहृताः ॥ ॥१-१४-५६॥
Praṇāmam akarot teṣām harṣa vyākulita indriyaḥ |
Tasya āśiṣo'tha vividhā brāhmaṇaiḥ samudāhṛtāḥ ॥1-14-56॥
Translation
With his senses overwhelmed by joy, the King bowed to them. Then, various blessings were pronounced upon him by the Brahmins.

हर्ष से व्याकुल इन्द्रियों वाले राजा ने उन सबको प्रणाम किया। तब उन ब्राह्मणों ने राजा को विविध प्रकार के आशीर्वाद प्रदान किए।
English Commentary
Usually, a donor might feel pride after such immense charity, but Dasharatha felt only overwhelming joy and gratitude. He bowed to the recipients, his senses overwhelmed (vyākulita indriyaḥ) by the spiritual emotion of the moment. In response to his humility and generosity, the Brahmins showered him with various blessings. This interaction illustrates the ideal spiritual exchange: the giver offers with humility, and the receiver reciprocates with powerful blessings (Ashirvad), creating a cycle of positive energy.

दान देने के बाद दाता में अहंकार आ सकता है, परन्तु दशरथ 'हर्ष व्याकुल' होकर विनम्रतापूर्वक झुक गए। इतना सब कुछ देने के बाद भी, वे स्वयं को कृतज्ञ मान रहे थे कि ब्राह्मणों ने उनका दान स्वीकार किया। बदले में, संतुष्ट ब्राह्मणों ने उन्हें मनचाहे फल प्राप्ति के अनेक आशीर्वाद दिए। यह 'दान' और 'प्रतिग्रह' (स्वीकार करने) के बीच का सात्विक संबंध है, जहाँ दाता नम्र रहता है और प्राप्तकर्ता कल्याण की कामना करता है।
