Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
एतत् श्रुत्वा प्रियम् वाक्यम् ब्रह्मणा समुदाहृतम् ।
देवा महर्षयः सर्वे प्रहृष्टाः ते अभवन् तदा ॥ ॥१-१५-१५॥
Etat śrutvā priyam vākyam brahmaṇā samudāhṛtam |
Devā maharṣayaḥ sarve prahṛṣṭāḥ te abhavan tadā ॥1-15-15॥
Translation
Hearing this pleasing statement uttered by Brahma, all those Devas and great sages became delighted.
हिंदी अनुवाद
ब्रह्मा जी द्वारा कहे गए इस प्रिय वचन को सुनकर, वे सभी देवता और महर्षि तब अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुए।
English Commentary
The mood of the assembly shifts instantly from terror to delight (prahṛṣṭāḥ). The "pleasing statement" is the confirmation that the invincible tyrant has an Achilles' heel. The Devas and Rishis rejoice because the theoretical path to victory is now clear. The focus now shifts from "How can he be killed?" to "Who will become that human to kill him?"

समस्या का समाधान मिलते ही सभा का वातावरण बदल गया। भय का स्थान 'प्रहृष्टाः' (अत्यधिक प्रसन्नता) ने ले लिया। देवता और ऋषि समझ गए कि रावण अजेय नहीं है। अब उन्हें केवल एक ऐसे शक्तिशाली व्यक्ति (या अवतार) की आवश्यकता है जो मनुष्य रूप में रावण का सामना कर सके। यह श्लोक निराशा से आशा की ओर संक्रमण (transition) को दर्शाता है।
