ततो देवाः स गन्धर्वाः सिद्धाः च परम ऋषयः ।
भाग प्रतिग्रहार्थम् वै समवेता यथाविधि ॥ ॥१-१५-४॥
Tato devāḥ sa gandharvāḥ siddhāḥ ca parama ṛṣayaḥ |
Bhāga pratigrahartham vai samavetā yathāvidhi ॥1-15-4॥
Translation
Then the Devas, along with Gandharvas, Siddhas, and supreme Rishis, assembled there according to custom to receive their share of the offerings.

तब देवता, गन्धर्व, सिद्ध और परम ऋषिगण अपना-अपना भाग (हविष्य) ग्रहण करने के लिए विधिपूर्वक वहां एकत्रित हुए।
English Commentary
As the offerings are made, the scene shifts to the cosmic plane. The power of the ritual summons the celestial beings—Devas, Gandharvas, and Siddhas—who arrive to claim their Bhāga (share) of the sacrifice. This reinforces the Vedic concept of reciprocity: humans nourish the gods through sacrifice, and gods nourish humans through blessings. Their arrival yathāvidhi (according to rule) indicates the orderly nature of the celestial hierarchy.

अग्नि में आहुति पड़ते ही दृश्य पृथ्वी से हटकर ब्रह्मांडीय स्तर पर पहुँच जाता है। शक्तिशाली मंत्रों के प्रभाव से देवता, गन्धर्व और सिद्ध प्रत्यक्ष रूप से वहां उपस्थित हो गए। यज्ञ में 'भाग' (हिस्सा) प्राप्त करना देवताओं का अधिकार है, और यह एक प्रकार का अनुबंध (contract) है—मनुष्य हवि देता है और देवता फल देते हैं। 'यथाविधि' शब्द बताता है कि देवताओं का आगमन भी एक दैवीय प्रोटोकॉल के तहत हुआ, न कि भीड़ की तरह।
