Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
स कृत्वा निश्चयम् विष्णुः आमन्त्र्य च पितामहम् ।
अन्तर्धानम् गतो देवैः पूज्य मानो महर्षिभिः ॥ ॥१-१६-१०॥
Sa kṛtvā niścayam Viṣṇuḥ āmantrya ca Pitāmaham । Antardhānam gato devaiḥ pūjya māno maharṣibhiḥ ॥ ॥1-16-10॥
Translation
Having made this decision and taking leave of the Grandfather (Brahma), Vishnu disappeared, being worshipped by the gods and great sages.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(दशरथ को पिता बनाने का) निश्चय करके और पितामह ब्रह्मा से अनुमति लेकर, देवताओं तथा महर्षियों द्वारा पूजित होते हुए भगवान विष्णु वहां से अंतर्धान हो गए।
English Commentary
This verse marks a dramatic transition. Vishnu disappears (Antardhānam gato) from the celestial council to begin the process of incarnation. Taking leave of Brahma (Pitāmaham) shows adherence to protocol and etiquette. The narrative focus now shifts from the divine deliberation in the heavens to the ritual action on earth.

यह दृश्य परिवर्तन (Scene Change) है। विष्णु का 'अन्तर्धान' होना उनकी सूक्ष्म यात्रा का आरम्भ है—बैकुंठ/स्वर्ग से अयोध्या के यज्ञ-कुंड की ओर। ब्रह्मा से अनुमति लेना ('आमन्त्र्य') वैदिक मर्यादा और बड़ों के सम्मान का सूचक है। अब कथा का फोकस स्वर्ग से हटकर पृथ्वी पर दशरथ की यज्ञशाला पर केंद्रित होगा।
