Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
ततः तत् अद्भुत प्रख्यम् भूतम् परम भास्वरम् ।
संवर्तयित्वा तत् कर्म तत्र एव अन्तरधीयत ॥ ॥१-१६-२४॥
tataḥ tat adbhuta prakhyam bhūtam parama bhāsvaram |
saṃvartayitvā tat karma tatra eva antaradhīyata ॥1-16-24॥
Translation
Then that wonderful, glowing being, having completed that task, disappeared right there.

तदनन्तर, वह अद्भुत और परम तेजस्वी प्राणी अपना वह कार्य (पायस प्रदान करना) पूरा करके वहीं अंतर्ध्यान (लुप्त) हो गया।
English Commentary
The encounter concludes abruptly but majestically. The being, described as parama bhāsvaram (supremely radiant/glowing), vanishes immediately upon completing his mission (tat karma). This sudden disappearance (antaradhīyata) confirms the supernatural nature of the event. The messenger had no other business in the mortal realm other than delivering the Payasam. This creates a dramatic separation between the divine intervention and the human action that must follow. The gods have done their part; now it is up to Dasharatha and his queens to fulfill the rest of the destiny. The narrative focus shifts back entirely to the King and the precious vessel in his hands.

इस सर्ग के इस भाग का यह समापन श्लोक है। वह दिव्य पुरुष, जो 'परम भास्वरम्' (अत्यंत प्रकाशवान) था, अपना कार्य समाप्त होते ही विलुप्त हो गया। 'संवर्तयित्वा तत् कर्म' (उस कर्म को पूरा करके) यह दर्शाता है कि दैवीय शक्तियाँ एक निश्चित उद्देश्य के लिए प्रकट होती हैं और उद्देश्य पूरा होते ही वापस अपने लोक लौट जाती हैं। वे मानवीय प्रशंसा या सत्कार के लिए नहीं रुकतीं। उसका अचानक अंतर्ध्यान होना ('अन्तरधीयत') यह सिद्ध करता है कि वह कोई भौतिक शरीर वाला मनुष्य नहीं, बल्कि एक दिव्य सत्ता थी। अब दृश्य में केवल राजा और वह पात्र शेष हैं, और कथा का अगला चरण रानियों द्वारा उस प्रसाद को ग्रहण करने का है।
