Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तैः इयम् पृथिवी शूरैः सपर्वत वन अर्णवा ।
कीर्णा विविध संस्थानैः नाना व्यंजन लक्षणैः ॥ ॥१-१७-३६॥
Taiḥ iyam pṛthivī śūraiḥ saparvata vana arṇavā । Kīrṇā vividha saṃsthānaiḥ nānā vyaṃjana lakṣaṇaiḥ ॥ ॥1-17-36॥
Translation
The entire earth, along with its mountains, forests, and oceans, was filled with these brave warriors of various bodily forms and distinct characteristics.

पर्वतों, वनों और सागरों सहित यह पूरी पृथ्वी उन शूरवीरों से भर गई, जिनके शरीर के आकार और चिह्न (लक्षण) अलग-अलग प्रकार के थे।
English Commentary
This verse conveys the sheer scale of the divine mobilization. The earth (Prithivi) became saturated with these beings. The terms Vividha samsthanai (various stances/forms) and Nana vyanjana lakshanai (various marks and characteristics) emphasize the diversity within the ranks. It suggests that nature itself was teeming with divine potential, waiting for the moment to be called upon. The omnipresence of these warriors across mountains and oceans sets the stage for a massive global conflict.

यह श्लोक वानरों की जनसंख्या विस्फोट का वर्णन करता है। वे पृथ्वी के हर कोने—पहाड़, जंगल और समुद्र तट—पर फैल गए। 'विविध संस्थानैः' और 'नाना व्यंजन लक्षणैः' उनकी शारीरिक विविधता को दर्शाते हैं; कुछ मोटे थे, कुछ लम्बे, कुछ के विशिष्ट चिह्न थे। यह वर्णन बताता है कि राम की सहायता के लिए तैयार की गई यह सेना सीमित नहीं थी, बल्कि एक विश्वव्यापी शक्ति थी जो पृथ्वी के चप्पे-चप्पे पर विद्यमान थी।
