पुष्ये जातः तु भरतो मीन लग्ने प्रसन्न धीः ।
सार्पे जातौ तु सौमित्री कुलीरे अभ्युदिते रवौ ॥ ॥१-१८-१५॥
puṣye jātaḥ tu bharato mīna lagne prasanna dhīḥ । sārpe jātau tu saumitrī kulīre abhyudite ravau ॥ ॥1-18-15॥
Translation
Bharata was born under the Pushya star in the Pisces ascendant (Meena Lagna). The sons of Sumitra (Lakshmana and Shatrughna) were born under the Ashlesha star in the Cancer ascendant (Karkata Lagna) after the sun had risen.

भरत का जन्म पुष्य नक्षत्र और मीन लग्न में हुआ। सुमित्रा के दोनों पुत्रों (लक्ष्मण और शत्रुघ्न) का जन्म आश्लेषा (सार्प) नक्षत्र और कर्क (कुलीर) लग्न में हुआ, जब सूर्योदय हो चुका था।
