Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
एवम् विसृज्य तान् सर्वान् राजा संपूर्ण मानसः ।
उवास सुखितः तत्र पुत्र उत्पत्तिम् विचिंतयन् ॥ ॥१-१८-७॥
evam visṛjya tān sarvān rājā saṃpūrṇa mānasaḥ । uvāsa sukhitaḥ tatra putra utpattim viciṃtayan ॥ ॥1-18-7॥
Translation
Having thus bid farewell to all of them, the King, with a fulfilled mind and heart, lived there happily, contemplating the impending birth of his sons.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस प्रकार उन सभी अतिथियों और ऋषियों को विदा करके, राजा दशरथ पूर्ण मनोरथ वाले होकर, संतानों की उत्पत्ति का चिंतन करते हुए वहां सुखपूर्वक रहने लगे।
English Commentary
This verse captures the psychological shift in King Dasharatha. He moves from a state of despondency over his lineage to a state of sampurna manasah (mental fulfillment). Even though the children are not yet born, the successful completion of the sacrifice has instilled absolute faith in him. It illustrates the peace that comes from spiritual surrender and the confidence that the divine promise will fructify. He now lives in happy anticipation rather than anxious desperation.

यहाँ राजा की मानसिक स्थिति का वर्णन है। जो दशरथ पहले संतानहीनता के कारण दुखी और चिंतित थे, वे अब 'संपूर्ण मानसः' (तृप्त मन वाले) हैं। यज्ञ का प्रसाद रानियों द्वारा ग्रहण किए जाने के बाद राजा को दैवीय वचन पर पूर्ण विश्वास हो गया था। यह श्लोक 'श्रद्धा' की शक्ति को दर्शाता है—परिणाम अभी सामने नहीं आया है (पुत्रों का जन्म नहीं हुआ है), लेकिन ऋषियों के वचनों और यज्ञ के प्रभाव पर विश्वास होने के कारण राजा चिंतामुक्त होकर सुख का अनुभव कर रहे हैं।
