ततो यज्ञे समाप्ते तु ऋतूनाम् षट् समत्ययुः ।
ततः च द्वादशे मासे चैत्रे नावमिके तिथौ ॥ ॥१-१८-८॥
tato yajñe samāpte tu ṛtūnām ṣaṭ samatyayuḥ । tataḥ ca dvādaśe māse caitre nāvamike tithau ॥ ॥1-18-8॥
Translation
Six seasons (one year) passed after the completion of the sacrifice. Then, in the twelfth month, on the ninth day of the Chaitra month, the auspicious time arrived.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस यज्ञ के समाप्त होने के बाद छह ऋतुएं (एक वर्ष) बीत गईं। तदनंतर बारहवें महीने में, चैत्र मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की नवमी तिथि को शुभ समय उपस्थित हुआ।
