Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
त्रयाणाम् अपि लोकानाम् येन ख्यातिम् गमिष्यति ।
न च तौ रामम् आसाद्य शक्तौ स्थातुम् कथम् च न ॥ ॥१-१९-११॥
Trayāṇām api lokānām yena khyātim gamiṣyati । Na ca tau rāmam āsādya śaktau sthātum katham ca na ॥ ॥1-19-11॥
Translation
Through this deed, he will attain fame across all three worlds. Those two demons will not be able to stand before Rama in any way upon encountering him.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जिससे (इस कार्य से) यह तीनों लोकों में विख्यात हो जायेंगे। वे दोनों राक्षस राम के सामने आकर किसी भी प्रकार ठहर नहीं सकेंगे।
English Commentary
Vishwamitra appeals to Dasharatha's desire for his son's glory. He predicts that this act of protecting the Yajna will bring Rama fame across the three worlds (Trayanam lokanam). The assurance is absolute: the demons will not be able to stand (sthatum) before Rama. This reflects the Sage's prophetic insight; he knows that the confrontation between the Avatar and the demons is inevitable and that the outcome is preordained in Rama's favor.

विश्वामित्र दशरथ को पुत्र के उज्ज्वल भविष्य का लोभ दे रहे हैं। हर पिता चाहता है कि उसका पुत्र यशस्वी हो। ऋषि कहते हैं कि राक्षसों का वध करके राम की कीर्ति तीनों लोकों (त्रिलोक) में फैलेगी। वे विश्वास दिलाते हैं कि मारीच और सुबाहु, चाहे कितने भी मायावी क्यों न हों, राम के सामने टिक नहीं पाएंगे। यहाँ ऋषि की दूरदृष्टि है—वे जानते हैं कि राम का जन्म ही दुष्टों के संहार के लिए हुआ है, इसलिए उनकी विजय सुनिश्चित है।
