न्यस्यतां कलशः तात दीयतां वल्कलम् मम।
इदं एव अवगाहिष्ये तमसा तीर्थम् उत्तमम् ॥१-२-६॥
nyasyatām kalaśaḥ tāta dīyatām valkalam mama।idam eva avagāhiṣye tamasā tīrtham uttamam ॥1-2-6॥
Translation
"Dear child, let the water pot be set down, and give me my bark garment. I shall bathe only in this excellent and holy spot of the Tamasā river."

"प्रिय शिष्य, जल कलश को रख दो, और मुझे मेरा बर्क वस्त्र दे दो। मैं बस इस उत्कृष्ट और पवित्र तमसा नदी के स्थान में स्नान करूंगा।"
