पंचाशतम् सुतान् लेभे जया लब्ध वरा वरान् ।
वधायासुरसैन्यानामप्रमेयानरूपिणः ॥ (पाठभेद: वधाय असुर सैन्यानाम् अप्रमेयान् अरूपिणः) ॥१-२१-१६॥
Pañcāśatam sutān lebhe jayā labdha varā varān |

Translation
"Having obtained a boon, Jaya gave birth to fifty supreme sons for the destruction of the demon armies—sons who are immeasurable in power and formless (capable of becoming invisible)."

"वरदान प्राप्त करके, जया ने असुर सेनाओं के वध के लिए पचास श्रेष्ठ पुत्रों को जन्म दिया, जो असीमित शक्ति वाले (अप्रमेय) और अदृश्य (अरूपी) हैं।"
English Commentary
Vasistha details the specific purpose of Jaya’s offspring: the destruction of demon armies. He subtly tells Dasharatha, "Why fear demons when these weapons exist solely to terminate them?" Describing them as arupinah (formless) indicates they are subtle, mantra-activated energies. The implication is clear: Vishwamitra holds the keys to demon-slaying technology, and he intends to transfer this "software" to Rama.

यहाँ 'जया' के पुत्रों का वर्णन है। उनका उद्देश्य ही 'असुरों का वध' करना है। वसिष्ठ दशरथ को संकेत दे रहे हैं: "राजन्! आप असुरों से डर रहे हैं, जबकि ये अस्त्र तो बने ही असुरों को मारने के लिए हैं।" 'अरूपिणः' का अर्थ है कि ये अस्त्र सूक्ष्म रूप में रहते हैं और केवल मन्त्रों द्वारा प्रकट होते हैं। यह ज्ञान अभी विश्वामित्र के पास है और वे इसे राम को देना चाहते हैं।
