एतत् विद्या द्वये लब्धे न भवेत् सदृशः तव ।
बला च अतिबला चैव सर्व ज्ञानस्य मातरौ ॥ ॥१-२२-१६॥
Etat vidyā dvaye labdhe na bhavet sadṛśaḥ tava । Balā ca atibalā caiva sarva jñānasya mātarau ॥ ॥1-22-16॥
Translation
"Once you have obtained these two sciences, there shall be none equal to you. Indeed, Bala and Atibala are the mothers of all knowledge."

"इन दो विद्याओं (बला और अतिबला) को प्राप्त कर लेने पर तुम्हारे समान कोई नहीं होगा। ये बला और अतिबला विद्याएं समस्त ज्ञान की माताएं हैं।"
English Commentary
The description of these mantras as the "mothers of all knowledge" (sarva jnanasya matarau) is profound. यहाँ इन मंत्रों को "सर्व ज्ञानस्य मातरौ" (सारे ज्ञान की माताएं) कहा गया है। इसका अर्थ है कि ये विद्याएं केवल शारीरिक शक्ति ही नहीं देतीं, बल्कि आध्यात्मिक और बौद्धिक ज्ञान का स्रोत भी हैं। जैसे माता बच्चे का पोषण करती है, वैसे ही ये विद्याएं साधक की चेतना का पोषण करती हैं। विश्वामित्र राम को बता रहे हैं कि वे उन्हें केवल हथियार नहीं, बल्कि ज्ञान का मूल स्रोत सौंप रहे हैं।
