Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
प्रति जग्राह ते विद्ये महर्षेर् भावित आत्मनः ।
विद्या समुदितो रामः शुशुभे भीम विक्रमः ॥ ॥१-२२-२१॥
Prati jagrāha te vidye maharṣer bhāvita ātmanaḥ । Vidyā samudito rāmaḥ śuśubhe bhīma vikramaḥ ॥ ॥1-22-21॥
Translation
Rama received those two sciences from the contemplative Great Sage. Empowered by these sciences, Rama, of formidable prowess, shone with great resplendence.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राम ने उन जितात्मा महर्षि से वे दोनों विद्याएं ग्रहण कीं। उन विद्याओं से युक्त होने के बाद, भयानक पराक्रम वाले राम अत्यंत सुशोभित हुए।
English Commentary
The transaction is complete. Rama absorbs the knowledge from the self-realized sage. The immediate effect is a visible transformation—Rama "shone" (shushubhe). The verse juxtaposes spiritual radiance with martial potential by calling him Bhima vikramah (one of terrifying valor). It signifies the synthesis of Brahma-tejas (spiritual power) and Kshatra-tejas (warrior power) within Rama.

यहाँ ज्ञान का हस्तांतरण पूरा होता है। विश्वामित्र के लिए 'भावित आत्मनः' (शुद्ध अंतःकरण वाले) विशेषण का प्रयोग हुआ है। जैसे ही राम ने विद्या ली, वे 'शुशुभे' (चमकने लगे)। ज्ञान प्राप्त करने के बाद व्यक्ति का आभाामंडल (aura) बदल जाता है। 'भीम विक्रमः' (भयानक पराक्रम वाले) शब्द का प्रयोग यह याद दिलाता है कि यह चमक एक कोमल बालक की नहीं, बल्कि एक शक्तिशाली योद्धा की है।
