Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
कुमारौ चारु वपुषौ भ्रातरौ राम लक्ष्मणौ ।
अनुयातौ श्रिया दीप्तौ शोभयेताम् अनिन्दितौ ॥ ॥१-२२-९॥
Kumārau cāru vapuṣau bhrātarau rāma lakṣmaṇau । Anuyātau śriyā dīptau śobhayetām aninditau ॥ ॥1-22-9॥
Translation
The two brothers, Rama and Lakshmana, possessed of beautiful forms, glowing with radiance, and flawless in character, beautified the path as they followed the sage.

सुंदर शरीर वाले, कांति से देदीप्यमान और निंदारहित (दोषमुक्त) दोनों भाई, राम और लक्ष्मण, विश्वामित्र का अनुसरण करते हुए मार्ग को अपनी शोभा से सुशोभित कर रहे थे।
English Commentary
The focus shifts from their weaponry back to their physical and moral aesthetic. They are described as Aninditau—faultless or blameless—which speaks to their perfect character and reputation. Charu vapushau refers to their handsome physical forms. The poet emphasizes that their presence lit up the surroundings; they didn't just walk on the path, they adorned it. It reinforces the idea of the "Dharmic Warrior"—beautiful in form, radiant in spirit, and lethal in duty.
