Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
यथा अर्हम् अजपन् संध्याम् ऋषयः ते समाहिताः ।
तत्र वासिभिः आनीता मुनिभिः सुव्रतैः सह ॥ ॥१-२३-२१॥
yathā arham ajapan sandhyām ṛṣayaḥ te samāhitāḥ |
tatra vāsibhiḥ ānītā munibhiḥ suvrataiḥ saha ॥1-23-21॥
Translation
Those sages (Vishwamitra and party), with concentrated minds, performed the evening prayers (Sandhya) as prescribed, together with the local ascetics of noble vows.

उन ऋषियों (विश्वामित्र आदि) ने वहाँ रहने वाले सुंदर व्रत का पालन करने वाले मुनियों के साथ मिलकर, एकाग्रचित होकर विधिपूर्वक संध्या-वंदना की।
English Commentary
The day concludes with a communal evening prayer (Sandhya Vandana). The word "Samahitah" indicates deep concentration and focus.
