Srimad Valmiki Ramayana

Tayoḥ tad vacanam śrutvā prahasya munipuṃgavaḥ । Abravīt śrūyatām rāma yasya ayam pūrva āśramaḥ ॥ ॥1-23-9॥
Translation
Hearing their words, the best of sages (Vishwamitra) smiled and said, "Listen, O Rama, as to whose hermitage this was in the past."
English Commentary
The teacher smiles (Prahasya) at the eagerness of his students. Vishwamitra is described as Munipungava (bull/best among sages). His smile indicates affection and readiness to impart knowledge. He begins the narration regarding the historical significance of the spot, preparing to tell the tale of the "Anga" country.
