Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
आरोहतु भवान् नावम् राजपुत्र पुरस्कृतः ।
अरिष्टम् गच्छ पन्थानम् मा भूत् काल विपर्ययः ॥ ॥१-२४-३॥
ārohatu bhavān nāvam rājaputra puraskṛtaḥ |
ariṣṭam gaccha panthānam mā bhūt kāla viparyayaḥ ॥1-24-3॥
Translation
(The sages said) Please board the boat, keeping the princes ahead. May you proceed on a safe path without obstacles; let there be no delay.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(मुनियों ने कहा) आप राजकुमारों को आगे करके इस नौका पर आरोहण करें। आपकी यात्रा मंगलमय (बाधा रहित) हो और समय का व्यतिक्रम (देरी) न हो।
English Commentary
The sages display both affection and practicality. They bless the journey to be "Arishtam" (free from misfortune). The instruction "Ma Bhut Kala Viparyayah" (let there be no lapse of time) shows their respect for punctuality and the auspicious timing of travel. Asking Vishwamitra to let the princes board implies respect for royal protocol and care for their safety.

यहाँ ऋषियों की व्यावहारिकता और ममता दिखाई देती है। वे चाहते हैं कि यात्रा "अरिष्टम्" (विघ्न रहित) हो। "मा भूत् काल विपर्ययः" (समय की बर्बादी न हो) यह दर्शाता है कि ऋषि समय के मूल्य को समझते थे। यात्रा के लिए सही मुहूर्त और समय पर प्रस्थान करना प्राचीन काल में अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता था। राजकुमारों को पहले चढ़ने का आग्रह उनके राजसी सम्मान और सुरक्षा के प्रति सचेत रहने का संकेत है।
