एनाम् राघव दुर्वृत्ताम् यक्षीम् परम दारुणाम् ।
गो ब्राह्मण हितार्थाय जहि दुष्ट पराक्रमाम् ॥ ॥१-२५-१५॥
Enām rāghava durvṛttām yakṣīm parama dāruṇām । Go brāhmaṇa hitārthāya jahi duṣṭa parākramām ॥ ॥1-25-15॥
Translation
O Raghava, for the welfare of cows and Brahmins, kill this wicked, terribly cruel Yakshini of evil valor.

हे राघव! इस दुराचारिणी, अत्यंत भयानक और दुष्ट पराक्रम वाली यक्षी को गौ और ब्राह्मणों के हित के लिए मार डालो।
English Commentary
Vishvamitra provides the ethical mandate for the killing. The justification is utilitarian and protective: Go-Brahmana hitarthaya (for the sake/good of cows and Brahmins). In the Vedic context, this encompasses the protection of the agrarian economy and the spiritual/intellectual class. Rama is asked to eliminate her not out of personal malice, but to neutralize a threat (Dushta parakramam) to civil society.

विश्वामित्र अब 'मिशन' का उद्देश्य (Objective) निर्धारित करते हैं। क्षत्रिय हिंसा कब कर सकता है? केवल अपने स्वार्थ के लिए नहीं, बल्कि 'गो ब्राह्मण हितार्थाय' (गायों और ज्ञानियों/समाज की रक्षा के लिए)। गाय अहिंसा और अर्थव्यस्था का प्रतीक है, और ब्राह्मण ज्ञान और संस्कृति का। ताड़का 'दुर्वृत्ताम्' (बुरे चरित्र वाली) है, इसलिए उसका वध न्यायसंगत है।
