न हि एनाम् शाप संसृष्टाम् कश्चित् उत्सहते पुमान् ।
निहन्तुम् त्रिषु लोकेषु त्वाम् ऋते रघु नन्दन ॥ ॥१-२५-१६॥
Na hi enām śāpa saṃsṛṣṭām kaścit utsahate pumān । Nihantum triṣu lokeṣu tvām ṛte raghu nandan ॥ ॥1-25-16॥
Translation
O Scion of Raghu, no man in the three worlds is capable or dares to kill her, who is enveloped by the curse, except you.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे रघुनन्दन! शाप से युक्त इस ताड़का को तीनों लोकों में तुम्हारे सिवाय मारने का साहस और सामर्थ्य किसी अन्य पुरुष में नहीं है।
English Commentary
This verse explains the supernatural difficulty of the task. Tataka is not just a physical being; she is Shapa samsrishtam (entwined with a curse). This curse-energy makes her formidable to ordinary warriors. Vishvamitra asserts that Tvām ṛte (except you), no one in the three worlds can end her terror. This isolates Rama as the chosen savior, reinforcing that this task is tailored specifically for his capabilities.

ऋषि बताते हैं कि ताड़का को सामान्य योद्धा क्यों नहीं मार सकते। वह 'शाप संसृष्टाम्' (शाप से लिपटी हुई/युक्त) है। शाप की ऊर्जा उसे एक अजीब सुरक्षा और भयानकता देती है जिसे केवल एक दैवीय पुरुष (राम) ही भेद सकता है। विश्वामित्र 'त्वां ऋते' (तुम्हारे बिना) कहकर यह स्पष्ट करते हैं कि यह राम की नियति (Destiny) है। यह राम के आत्मविश्वास को जगाने और जिम्मेदारी का अहसास कराने के लिए कहा गया है।
