जपतः तु मुनेः तस्य विश्वामित्रस्य धीमतः ।
उपतस्थुः महा अर्हाणि सर्वाणि अस्त्राणि राघवम् ॥१-२७-२४॥
japataḥ tu muneḥ tasya viśvāmitrasya dhīmataḥ |
upatasthuḥ mahā arhāṇi sarvāṇi astrāṇi rāghavam ॥1-27-24॥
Translation
Even as the wise Sage Vishwamitra chanted [the mantras], all those highly worthy missiles appeared before Raghava.

उस बुद्धिमान मुनि विश्वामित्र के जप करते ही वे सभी महामूल्यवान (पूजनीय) अस्त्र राम के समीप उपस्थित हो गए।
English Commentary
The immediate efficacy of Vishwamitra's spiritual power is demonstrated here. As the 'wise' (dhimatah) sage chants, the weapons manifest instantly. The verb upatasthuh (stood near/approached) suggests a physical or clearly perceptible spectral appearance. Describing the weapons as Maha-arhani (greatly worthy/deserving of worship) reinforces their divine status; they are not mere tools but deities or spirits of war. The scene depicts the bridging of the metaphysical and physical worlds—sound (mantra) converting into power (astra) and presenting itself to the chosen vessel, Rama. It validates Vishwamitra's status as a Mantra-drashta (seer of mantras).
