कृशाश्व तनयान् राम भास्वरान् काम रूपिणः ।
प्रतीच्छ मम भद्रम् ते पात्र भूतोऽसि राघव ॥ ॥१-२८-१०॥
Kṛśāśva tanayān rāma bhāsvarān kāma rūpiṇaḥ |
Pratīccha mama bhadram te pātra bhūto'si rāghava ॥1-28-10॥
Translation
O Rama, receive these radiant sons of Krishashva, who can assume any form at will. May prosperity be yours! You are indeed a worthy vessel, O Raghava.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राम! तुम प्रजापति कृशाश्व के इन तेजस्वी और कामरूपी (इच्छानुसार रूप धारण करने वाले) पुत्रों को मुझसे ग्रहण करो। तुम्हारा कल्याण हो! हे राघव, तुम (इन अस्त्रों के) सुपात्र हो।
English Commentary
Here, the Sage reveals the true nature of these weapons. They are not mere tools but "Sons of Krishashva"—sentient, divine entities possessing radiance (Bhasvaran) and the ability to change form (Kama rupinah). This personification demands that they be treated with respect and ritual propriety. The declaration "Patra bhuto'si" (You are a worthy vessel) is significant; the transference of such power relies entirely on the moral caliber of the recipient. Vishwamitra affirms that Rama possesses the character required to house these cosmic forces safely.

विश्वामित्र यहाँ अस्त्रों की वंशावली का रहस्य खोलते हैं। ये जड़ हथियार नहीं, बल्कि 'कृशाश्व तनयान्' (प्रजापति कृशाश्व के पुत्र) हैं—अर्थात ये चेतन देव-स्वरूप हैं। 'कामरूपिणः' का अर्थ है कि ये स्थूल और सूक्ष्म दोनों रूप धर सकते हैं। ऋषि राम को 'पात्र भूतोऽसि' कहकर सबसे बड़ा प्रमाण पत्र देते हैं—राम केवल एक योद्धा नहीं, बल्कि इन दिव्य शक्तियों को संभालने के लिए आध्यात्मिक रूप से योग्य (पात्र) हैं। 'भद्रम् ते' (तुम्हारा कल्याण हो) एक गुरु का अपने शिष्य के लिए दिया गया परम्परागत आशीर्वाद है।
