अथ तस्य अप्रमेयस्य वचनम् परिपृच्छतः ।
विश्वामित्रो महातेजा व्याख्यातुम् उपचक्रमे ॥१-२९-१॥
atha tasya aprameyasya vacanam paripṛcchataḥ । viśvāmitro mahātejā vyākhyātum upacakrame ॥ ॥1-29-1॥
Translation
Then, in response to the query of that one of immeasurable power (Rama), the highly resplendent Vishvamitra began to narrate the details.

तदनन्तर, अमित प्रभावशाली (श्रीराम) के पूछने पर, महातेजस्वी विश्वामित्र ने (उस आश्रम के इतिहास की) व्याख्या करना आरम्भ किया।
English Commentary
This verse marks the beginning of Sarga 29. The epithet aprameyasya (immeasurable/inscrutable) used for Rama is significant; it hints at his divine nature which transcends human measurement, even though he plays the role of a curious prince. Vishvamitra, described as mahātejā (of great splendor), begins his narration. The dynamic is set: a guru revealing sacred history to a disciple who is himself the subject of that history (as the incarnation of Vishnu), creating a layer of dramatic irony and spiritual depth.
