तत् श्रुत्वा वचनम् तस्य मारीचः कश्यपो अब्रवीत् ।
अदित्या देवतानाम् च मम च एव अनुयाचितम् ॥ ॥१-२९-१५॥
Tat śrutvā vacanam tasya mārīcaḥ kaśyapo abravīt । Adityā devatānām ca mama ca eva anuyācitam ॥ ॥1-29-15॥
Translation
Hearing those words of His, Kashyapa, the son of Marichi, spoke: 'Please hear the request that is shared by Aditi, the Devas, and myself.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
भगवान का वह वचन सुनकर मरीचि नन्दन कश्यप बोले—"अदिति का, देवताओं का और मेरा जो अनुरोध (याचना) है, [उसे आप सुनें]।"
English Commentary
This verse demonstrates the altruistic nature of Kashyapa's request. Despite having earned the right to a boon through his personal penance, he frames his request as a collective petition (Anuyacitam) on behalf of his wife Aditi and the Devas (gods). This marks the transition from personal spiritual practice to cosmic responsibility. By aligning his will with the needs of the celestial community, Kashyapa acts as a true Patriarch (Prajapati). He is not asking for liberation (Moksha) for himself, but for intervention to restore order in the world, bridging the gap between the suffering gods and the Supreme Lord.

कश्यप जी यहाँ व्यक्तिगत लाभ के लिए नहीं, बल्कि सामूहिक कल्याण (लोकसंग्रह) के लिए वर मांग रहे हैं। वे स्पष्ट करते हैं कि यह याचना केवल उनकी नहीं है, बल्कि 'अदित्या' (माता की ममता) और 'देवतानाम्' (ब्रह्मांडीय व्यवस्थापकों की पीड़ा) की सामूहिक पुकार है। एक सच्चा महात्मा वही है जो अपनी तपस्या का फल अपने लिए नहीं, बल्कि जगत के उद्धार के लिए उपयोग करे। 'मारीचः' (मरीचि के पुत्र) विशेषण उनके उच्च कुल और दायित्व को रेखांकित करता है। वे यहाँ देवताओं के प्रतिनिधि के रूप में खड़े हैं।
