तम् दृष्ट्वा मुनयः सर्वे सिद्धाश्रम निवासिनः ।
उत्पत्योत्पत्य सहसा विश्वामित्रम् अपूजयन् ॥ ॥१-२९-२६॥
Tam dṛṣṭvā munayaḥ sarve siddhāśrama nivāsinaḥ । Utpatyotpatya sahasā viśvāmitram apūjayan ॥ ॥1-29-26॥
Translation
Seeing him, all the sages residing in Siddhashrama sprang up suddenly (in joy and haste) and offered worship to Vishvamitra.

उन्हें (विश्वामित्र को) देखकर सिद्धाश्रम में रहने वाले सभी मुनि सहसा (हर्ष के कारण) उछल-उछल कर (या शीघ्रता से उठकर) उनके पास आए और उनका पूजन (सत्कार) किया।
English Commentary
The repetition in the word Utpatyotpatya (springing up again and again/jumping up) conveys the sheer excitement and kinetic energy of the residents. It is not a lazy, formal welcome; it is spontaneous joy. The sages of Siddhashrama had likely been living in fear of the Rakshasas and awaiting their protector's return. Seeing Vishvamitra return with the radiant princes gave them hope. This verse captures the communal bond of the ashram, where the return of the head sage is a celebrated event.

'उत्पत्योत्पत्य' शब्द यहाँ मुनियों के उत्साह और उतावलेपन को दर्शाता है। विश्वामित्र संभवतः लंबे समय बाद राम को लाने के उद्देश्य से बाहर गए थे। उनके लौटने पर आश्रमवासियों में खुशी की लहर दौड़ गई। वे अपनी-अपनी जगहों से उठकर शीघ्रता से अपने कुलगुरु का स्वागत करने आए। यह गुरु के प्रति शिष्यों और साथी मुनियों के अगाध प्रेम और सम्मान को प्रकट करता है। 'अपूजयन्' का अर्थ है कि उन्होंने अर्घ्य, पाद्य आदि से उनका विधिवत स्वागत किया। यह आश्रम के अनुशासित फिर भी प्रेमपूर्ण वातावरण का चित्रण है।
