Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
स यथा कथितम् पूर्वम् नारदेन महात्मना ।
रघु वंशस्य चरितम् चकार भगवान् मुनिः ॥१-३-९॥
sa yathā kathitam pūrvam nāradena mahātmanā |
raghu vaṃśasya caritam cakāra bhagavān muniḥ ॥1-3-9॥
Translation
Just as it was narrated previously by the great-souled Narada, the revered sage (Valmiki) composed the life story (history) of the Raghu dynasty.

जैसा कि पहले महान आत्मा नारद द्वारा कहा गया था, भगवान् मुनि ने रघु वंश की जीवनी का निर्माण किया।
