ताम् तेन रुधिर ओघेण वेदीम् वीक्ष्य समुक्षिताम् ।
सहसा अभिद्रुतो रामः तान् अपश्यत् ततो दिवि ॥ ॥१-३०-१३॥
Tām tena rudhira ogheṇa vedīm vīkṣya samukṣitām । Sahasā abhidruto rāmaḥ tān apaśyat tato divi ॥ ॥1-30-13॥
Translation
Seeing the altar drenched by that flood of blood, Rama rushed forward immediately and saw them positioned in the sky.

उस रक्त की धारा से वेदी को भीगी हुई देखकर, राम ने सहसा ऊपर की ओर दौड़ते हुए (या झपटते हुए) उन्हें आकाश में देखा।
English Commentary
This verse highlights Rama's martial reflexes. Upon witnessing the defilement of the altar (vedīm... samukṣitām), his reaction is instantaneous (sahasā). He does not hesitate or recoil in shock; instead, he rushes into action (abhidrutaḥ) and locates the source of the attack in the sky (divi). This demonstrates his tactical awareness; he understands immediately that this is an aerial assault. The narrative focus shifts from the ground (the ruined altar) to the sky (the enemy), tracking Rama’s gaze. It marks the transition from the passive preparation of the ritual to the active engagement of battle.

श्रीराम की प्रतिक्रिया यहाँ दर्शनीय है। 'सहसा' (अचानक/तुरंत) शब्द उनकी तत्परता को दिखाता है। वेदी को अपवित्र होते देख वे निष्क्रिय नहीं रहे, बल्कि तुरंत सक्रिय हो गए। 'अभिद्रुतो' का अर्थ है कि वे स्थिति को संभालने के लिए दौड़े या आगे बढ़े। उनकी दृष्टि सीधे आकाश ('दिवि') की ओर गई, जहाँ से यह आक्रमण हो रहा था। यह एक योद्धा की तीक्ष्ण दृष्टि का परिचायक है जो समस्या की जड़ (आकाश में स्थित राक्षस) को तुरंत पहचान लेता है। यहाँ राम का धैर्य और क्षिप्रता (तेजी) दोनों प्रकट होते हैं; उन्होंने विलाप नहीं किया, बल्कि शत्रु को पहचाना।
