ते गत्वा दूरम् अध्वानम् गते अर्ध दिवसे तदा ।
जाह्नवीम् सरिताम् श्रेष्ठाम् ददृशुर् मुनि सेविताम् ॥ ॥१-३५-७॥
Te gatvā dūram adhvānam gate ardha divase tadā । Jāhnavīm saritām śreṣṭhām dadṛśur muni sevitām ॥ ॥1-35-7॥
Translation
Having traveled a long distance, by midday, they beheld the Jahnavi (Ganga), the best of rivers, frequented by sages.

लंबी दूरी तय करने के बाद, जब दिन का आधा भाग बीत गया (दोपहर के समय), तब उन्होंने नदियों में श्रेष्ठ और मुनियों द्वारा सेवित जाह्नवी (गंगा) के दर्शन किए।
