Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तैः च सर्वैः दिशा पालैः वाक्यज्ञैः वाक्यकोविदैः ।
पूजितः स हयः चैव गन्ता असि इति अभिचोदितः ॥ ॥१-४१-११॥
taiḥ ca sarvaiḥ diśā pālaiḥ vākyajñaiḥ vākyakovidaiḥ । pūjitaḥ sa hayaḥ caiva gantā asi iti abhicoditaḥ ॥ ॥1-41-11॥
Translation
He was honored by all those guardians of the quarters, who were knowers of speech and eloquent, and urged on by them with the words, "You will go (return) with the horse."

उन सभी दिशापालों ने, जो वाक्य-ज्ञान में निपुण और विद्वान थे, उसका (अंशुमान का) सत्कार किया और उसे प्रेरित किया कि "तुम घोड़े को लेकर जाओगे (लौटोगे)।"
English Commentary
This verse confirms the universal consensus among the divine guardians. All the Dishopalas (guardians of directions), described as masters of speech (vakyakovidaih), honored Anshuman (pujitah). This implies a reciprocal respect rarely accorded to mortals. They collectively prophesize his success, urging him on with the assurance that he will return with the horse. Armed with these divine endorsements, Anshuman is now spiritually fortified to face the final, most dangerous leg of the journey—the ashram of Kapila.

चारों दिशाओं के दिग्गजों ने एक स्वर में अंशुमान की सफलता की भविष्यवाणी की। दिग्गजों को 'वाक्यज्ञैः' और 'वाक्यकोविदैः' (वाणी के मर्म को जानने वाले) कहा गया है, अर्थात उनके वचन कभी मिथ्या नहीं होते। उन्होंने न केवल भविष्यवाणी की, बल्कि अंशुमान का 'पूजितः' (सत्कार) भी किया। एक नश्वर मनुष्य का देवताओं (दिग्गजों) द्वारा सत्कार किया जाना उसके चरित्र की महानता को सिद्ध करता है। सभी ने पुष्टि की कि वह अश्व को प्राप्त कर लेगा।
