English Commentary
The visual brilliance intensifies. The gods are described as amita ojasah (of immeasurable splendor). Their gathering is driven by didrikshavah (the burning desire to see). The sky is lit up not just by the river but by the abharana ojasa (luster of the jewelry) of the descending deities. This sets the scene for a blindingly bright, celebratory atmosphere, contrasting with the dark, heavy penance of Bhagiratha that preceded it.

देवताओं की उपस्थिति से वातावरण में प्रकाश फैल गया। वे 'अमित ओजसः' (असीमित तेज वाले) हैं। 'दिदृक्षवो' (देखने के इच्छुक) शब्द उनकी जिज्ञासा को दर्शाता है। आकाश केवल गंगा की चमक से ही नहीं, बल्कि करोड़ों देवताओं के दिव्य आभूषणों ('आभरण ओजसा') की चमक से भी भर गया। यह श्लोक एक दृश्य (Visual) प्रभाव पैदा करता है—श्वेत गंगा और स्वर्णिम देव-आभूषणों की मिश्रित चमक।
