Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
ये गता अभिमुखम् विष्णुम् अक्षरम् पुरुषोत्तमम् ।
संपिष्टाः ते तदा युद्धे बिष्णुना प्रभ विष्णुना ॥ ॥१-४५-४३॥
ye gatā abhimukham viṣṇum akṣaram puruṣottamam |
saṃpiṣṭāḥ te tadā yuddhe biṣṇunā prabha viṣṇunā ॥1-45-43॥
Translation
Those who confronted the Imperishable Supreme Person, Vishnu, in battle were crushed by the Lord Vishnu at that time.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जो भी युद्ध में अविनाशी पुरुषोत्तम विष्णु के सामने आए (उनका विरोध किया), वे प्रभु विष्णु द्वारा उस युद्ध में पीस डाले गए (नष्ट कर दिए गए)।
English Commentary
Following the strategic retrieval of Amrita, the narrative shifts to Vishnu’s martial dominance. He is described as Aksharam (Imperishable) and Prabhu (Lord/Master). The verse vividly describes the fate of those who dared to oppose the Supreme Being directly: they were sampishtah (crushed/pulverized). It underscores the futility of fighting against the sustainer of the universe, reinforcing Vishnu's supremacy.
हिंदी टीका
मोहिनी रूप के बाद विष्णु पुनः अपने योद्धा रूप में सक्रिय हुए। 'अक्षरम्' (जिसका क्षय न हो) विशेषण का प्रयोग कर वाल्मीकि जी बताते हैं कि नश्वर असुर अविनाशी विष्णु का सामना कैसे कर सकते थे? 'संपिष्टाः' (पीस डाले गए) शब्द विष्णु के रौद्र रूप को दर्शाता है। जो अमृत (अमरता) छीनना चाहते थे, उन्हें स्वयं मृत्यु (विष्णु) का सामना करना पड़ा।
