अदितेः आत्मजा वीरा दितेः पुत्रान् निजघ्निरे ।
अस्मिन् घोरे महायुद्धे दैतेया अदित्यायोः भृशम् ॥ ॥१-४५-४४॥
aditeḥ ātmajā vīrā diteḥ putrān nijaghnire |
asmin ghore mahāyuddhe daiteyā adityāyoḥ bhṛśam ॥1-45-44॥
Translation
In this terrible great war, the heroic sons of Aditi slaughtered the sons of Diti along with their allies.

इस घोर महायुद्ध में अदिति के वीर पुत्रों (देवताओं) ने दिति के पुत्रों (दैत्यों) और उनके पक्ष का भयंकर संहार किया।
English Commentary
Emboldened and strengthened by the Amrita, the Adityas (gods) achieved a decisive victory. The verse reiterates the intensity of the slaughter (nijaghnire - killed/struck down) in this Maha-yuddhe (Great War). It serves as the closing summary of the physical conflict, confirming that the cosmic balance was restored through the suppression of the Daityas.

अमृत पीने के बाद देवता अब अजेय हो गए थे। यह श्लोक युद्ध के अंतिम परिणाम का वर्णन करता है। 'निजघ्निरे' (मार डाला) क्रिया का प्रयोग असुरों की पूर्ण पराजय को दर्शाता है। यह धर्म (देवता) की अधर्म (असुर) पर विजय का प्रतीक है, जो रामायण का मूल स्वर भी है।
