निहत्य दिति पुत्रान् तु राज्यम् प्राप्य पुरंदरः ।
शशास मुदितो लोकान् स ऋषि संघान् स चारणान् ॥ ॥१-४५-४५॥
nihatya diti putrān tu rājyam prāpya purandaraḥ |
śaśāsa mudito lokān sa ṛṣi saṃghān sa cāraṇān ॥1-45-45॥
Translation
Having slain the sons of Diti and regained his kingdom, Purandara (Indra) ruled the worlds joyfully, along with the hosts of Sages and Charanas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
दिति के पुत्रों का वध करके और अपना राज्य पुनः प्राप्त कर, पुरंदर (इंद्र) ने प्रसन्न होकर ऋषि-संघों और चारणों सहित लोकों पर शासन किया।
English Commentary
This concludes Canto 45. Indra, referred to as Purandara (Destroyer of Forts), is reinstated as the cosmic ruler. The restoration of order brings joy (mudita) not just to him, but to the sages and celestial bards (Charanas), signifying that a righteous king creates an environment where knowledge and arts flourish. The cosmic hierarchy is stabilized.

सर्ग 45 का समापन इंद्र की विजय और राज्य-प्राप्ति के साथ होता है। इंद्र को 'पुरंदर' (किलों को तोड़ने वाला) कहा गया है। 'मुदितो' (प्रसन्न होकर) शब्द शांति और व्यवस्था की वापसी का संकेत है। ऋषियों और चारणों का उल्लेख यह बताता है कि इंद्र का शासन केवल शक्ति पर नहीं, बल्कि संस्कृति और ज्ञान के संरक्षण पर भी आधारित था।
