इह अद्य रजनीम् एकाम् सुखम् स्वप्स्यामहे वयम् ।
श्वः प्रभाते नरश्रेष्ठ जनकम् द्रष्टुम् अर्हसि ॥१-४७-१९॥
iha adya rajanīm ekām sukham svapsyāmahe vayam । śvaḥ prabhāte naraśreṣṭha janakam draṣṭum arhasi ॥1-47-19॥
Translation
"Here, for this one night, we shall sleep happily. O best of men! Tomorrow morning, it is fitting for you to see Janaka."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"आज की एक रात हम यहाँ सुखपूर्वक विश्राम करेंगे। हे नरश्रेष्ठ! कल सुबह आप (मिथिला के राजा) जनक के दर्शन करेंगे।"
English Commentary
Vishvamitra sets the itinerary. They will halt for the night in Vishala, enjoying the hospitality of King Sumati. The phrase shvah prabhate (tomorrow morning) indicates that their final destination, Mithila, is a short journey away. The phrasing Janakam drashtum arhasi (you deserve/ought to see Janaka) subtly builds anticipation for the main event: the encounter with King Janaka and the test of Shiva's bow.

विश्वामित्र यात्रा का कार्यक्रम (itinerary) तय कर रहे हैं। 'सुखम् स्वप्स्यामहे' (सुखपूर्वक सोएंगे) से तात्पर्य है कि वे राजा सुमति के अतिथि बनेंगे। 'श्वः प्रभाते' (कल सुबह) का संकेत है कि विशाला से मिथिला की दूरी अधिक नहीं है। 'जनकम् द्रष्टुम् अर्हसि' (जनक को देखना आपके लिए उचित है) कहकर विश्वामित्र संकेत दे रहे हैं कि यात्रा का मुख्य उद्देश्य—जनक का धनुष यज्ञ—अब निकट है।
