Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
सस् हि गौतम वाक्येन दुर्निरीक्ष्या बभूव ह ।
त्रयाणाम् अपि लोकानाम् यावत् रामस्य दर्शनम् ॥ ॥१-४९-१६॥
Sas hi gautama vākyena durnirīkṣyā babhūva ha । Trayāṇām api lokānām yāvat rāmasya darśanam ॥ ॥1-49-16॥
Translation
Indeed, by the word of Gautama, she had remained invisible to the three worlds until the moment of beholding Rama.

गौतम ऋषि के वचन के कारण, राम के दर्शन होने तक, वह तीनों लोकों के लिए अदृश्य (दुर्निरीक्ष्य) बनी रही थीं।
English Commentary
This verse clarifies the specific condition of the curse's termination. Gautama had decreed that she would remain invisible to the three worlds only until she saw Rama. यह श्लोक शाप की तकनीकी शर्त को स्पष्ट करता है। शाप का अंत 'रामस्य दर्शनम्' (राम को देखने) पर निर्भर था। ऋषि गौतम ने शाप देते समय ही मुक्ति का मार्ग भी निर्धारित कर दिया था। यह दर्शाता है कि ऋषियों का क्रोध भी अंततः कल्याणकारी होता है। जब तक राम ने उन्हें नहीं देखा, तब तक वह दुनिया के लिए अस्तित्वहीन थीं; राम की दृष्टि पड़ते ही उनका अस्तित्व पुनः प्रकट हो गया।
