पुष्प वृष्टिः महती आसीत् देव दुंदुभि निस्वनैः ।
गन्धर्व अप्सरसाम् च एव महान् आसीत् समुत्सवः ॥ ॥१-४९-१९॥
Puṣpa vṛṣṭiḥ mahatī āsīt deva dundubhi nisvanaiḥ । Gandharva apsarasām ca eva mahān āsīt samutsavaḥ ॥ ॥1-49-19॥
Translation
There was a great shower of flowers accompanied by the sound of celestial drums. A grand celebration ensued involving the Gandharvas and Apsaras.

तब देवताओं की दुंदुभी की ध्वनियों के साथ भारी पुष्प वर्षा हुई। गंधर्वों और अप्सराओं का महान उत्सव (नाच-गाना) हुआ।
English Commentary
The redemption of Ahalya is greeted with cosmic approval. The celestial phenomena—showers of flowers and the beating of divine drums—signify that the gods are pleased. The celebration of celestial beings (Gandharvas and Apsaras) serves as a witness to her purification. This verse concludes the episode on a note of jubilant victory, affirming that grace has triumphed over judgment and the cosmic balance has been restored.

अहल्या के उद्धार पर केवल पृथ्वी ही नहीं, बल्कि स्वर्ग भी हर्षित है। 'पुष्प वृष्टि' (फूलों की वर्षा) और 'देव दुंदुभी' (नगाड़े) दैवीय अनुमोदन के प्रतीक हैं। यह उत्सव सिद्ध करता है कि अहल्या का 'पाप' धुल गया है और देवता भी उनके तप और राम की कृपा का सम्मान कर रहे हैं। यह सर्ग एक त्रासद (tragedy) से शुरू होकर एक भव्य दैवीय उत्सव पर समाप्त होता है।
