अद्य यज्ञ फलम् प्राप्तम् भगवद् दर्शनात् मया ।
धन्यो अस्मि अनुगृहीतो अस्मि यस्य मे मुनि पुंगव ॥ ॥१-५०-१४॥
Adya yajña phalam prāptam bhagavad darśanāt mayā । Dhanyo asmi anugṛhīto asmi yasya me muni puṃgava ॥ ॥1-50-14॥
Translation
"Today, simply by your divine vision (Darshan), I have obtained the fruit of the sacrifice. O Bull among Munis! I am blessed and favored that you have come to me."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"आज आपके (भगवान के) दर्शन मात्र से मैंने यज्ञ का फल प्राप्त कर लिया है। हे मुनिपुंगव! जिस (यज्ञ शाला) में आप पधारे हैं, (वह मेरा होने के कारण) मैं धन्य हूँ और अनुगृहीत हूँ।"
English Commentary
Janaka equates the Darshan (sight/presence) of the sage with the Phalam (fruit/result) of the entire sacrifice. This is a profound spiritual statement: the company of the holy is superior to the performance of rituals. By stating "I am blessed" (Dhanyo asmi), Janaka displays the humility characteristic of a true seeker, acknowledging that spiritual merit is a gift of grace, not just a result of effort.

जनक कहते हैं कि यज्ञ पूरा होने पर जो पुण्य मिलता, वह उन्हें विश्वामित्र के 'दर्शन' से पहले ही मिल गया है। यह सत्संग की महिमा है। 'अनुगृहीतो अस्मि' (मैं अनुग्रहित/कृतार्थ हूँ) दर्शाता है कि राजा इसे मुनि की कृपा मानते हैं, अपना अधिकार नहीं। जनक की यह विनम्रता ही उन्हें 'विदेह' (देह-अभिमान से शून्य) सिद्ध करती है।
